Up in The Air

Before I being, you are going to notice that my ratings have changed. The reason for this, is over and over I have found certain movies don't apply to certain things. So instead of camera quality, you will see directing quality. I will explain when you get down there.

Synopsis: In the move Up in The Air you follow the story of Ryan Bingham( played by George Clooney), who travels 300 days a year for his job. His job is to fire people. Along the way, he meets a spectacular woman named Alex. When Ryan meets Alex, he realizes that instead of living a life of connections, he should do the exact opposite.

Review: Wow. I now understand why this movie was so called "critically acclaimed". This movie does what most dream to do, which is touch you. It makes you think about what you are doing with your life, and what you could be doing. George Clooney did the job of a lifetime in portraying this, and what it would be like to go through such an uprooting idea. This movie was funny, sad, tragic, and uplifting all at the same time.

Ratings: I ope now that you will see I have changed my rating style, just because sometimes it does not work for certain movies.
  1. Plot: This movie had a great plot that was filled with twists and surprises, that kept you enthralled throughout. 5/5
  2. Directing Quality:(See the change?) Up in The Air is directed by Jason Reitman, who directed Juno. Jason Reitmans directing style applied flawlessly to the movie type. He managed to keep it funny, while it stilled maintained an almost uplifting story line. 5/5
  3. Cast:(I'm getting rid of music. Just didn't seem important as far as movies go) This movie had stars such as George looney, Jason Bateman, and Anna Kendrick. This was one of Anna Kendrick's first roles, and one of the best. 5/5
  4. Script: This movie featured witty dialogue that was combined with modern times, showing you how much the work environment has changed.
  5. Acting: As mentioned earlier, the cast in this movie all performed superbly. Anna Kendrick played a new but unsure woman who learned that she had a lot to learn. All actors did fantastic.5/5
Sigh, another perfect score. I apologize, but this movie was truly fantastic. It kept you guessing, and really changed your perception on life. This was possible only because of the amazing acting ability, as well as the great directing styles.

I apologize, but I can't put a trailer in this one, for legal purposes.
